The Virgin Mary told Saint Catherine Laboure: "Come to the foot of the altar. There graces will be shed upon all, great and little, who ask for them. Graces will be especially shed on those who ask for them." When you send your prayer intentions, they are placed before the altar of the Virgin and are remembered in the Masses and prayers that are celebrated there every day. Please remember the following intentions in the Mass offered on Monday, June 9 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Before Mass, your petitions will be placed into the hands of a bronze statue of Our Lady on the Shrine grounds, as a sign of your prayerful appeal to Jesus, presented through Mary. They will then be carried to church and placed near Our Lady’s Shrine Altar for remembrance in the daily Mass throughout June.
